Solving “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage” Problem

Step 1: Test the issue with another webpage

If you do not receive an error message with other websites, the problem is probably limited to the one affected website. In that case, contact the owner of the website that is generating the error message. The site may be temporarily offline, or it may be experiencing other issues.

 

Step 2: Clear temporary internet files and history of your internet explorer

  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. Press Alt to show the menu bar.
  3. On the Tools menu, click Internet options.
  4. Under Browsing history, click Delete.
  5. Click to select the check box next to the following items
    • Preserve Favorites website data
    • Temporary Internet files
    • Cookies
    • History
    • Form data
    • InPrivate Filtering data (Internet Explorer 8) or ActiveX Filtering and Tracking Protection data(Internet Explorer 9)
  6. At the bottom of the window, click Delete.
  7. When the deletion is finished, exit Internet Explorer.
  8. Start Internet Explorer, and then try to access the webpage.

  2. On the Tools menu, click Delete Browsing History.
  3. Click to select the check box next to the following items:
    • Temporary Internet files
    • History
    • Form data
    • Cookies
  4. At the bottom of window, click Delete.
  5. When the deletion is finished, exit Internet Explorer.
  6. Start Internet Explorer, and then try to access the webpage.

 

Step 3:  Disable add-ons in Internet explorer

  1.    1. Click the Internet Explorer Tools menu, or press Alt-T on your keyboard.
  2.    2. Select Manage Add-ons.
  3.    3. If Toolbar, Toolbar Helper, or Toolbar Notifier BHO is enabled, select each add-on and click Disable.
  4.    4. Click Close.

 

Step 4: Clean out registry Errors
